Five years ago, Mira Bunting founded a guerrilla gardening group: Birnam Wood. An undeclared, unregulated, sometimes-criminal, sometimes-philanthropic gathering of friends, they plant crops wherever no one will notice: on the sides of roads, in forgotten parks, and neglected backyards.
