Summary Note |
He was a Texas hero, but branded a coward. When he discovers he's too late, he swears vengeance on the Yankee mercenaries who, fighting for Mexico, have murdered his wife and child. At the same time, Stroud must face the accusations of his outraged countrymen, who believe he fled his post in an act of cowardice. Only by confronting the enemy can he redeem himself in his fellow citizens' eye and his own. |
