Summary Note |
Eurotunnel officials discover a little girl cowering in an empty car on the shuttle. She's French, her name is Chloe Fournier and her parents have been abducted. Newly promoted Commander Elise Wasserman, of the Calais police, is charged with finding out who could have taken them and where they might be.Elise heads to Northbourne Public Protection Unit to interview Chloe Fournier. There Elise is reunited with her British friend and one-time colleague, Karl Roebuck. Karl left CID after the murder of his son and now works in Victim Support. No longer a detective, Karl must look on as Elise and her team investigate Chloe's case. |
