History New South Head Road, Rose Bay, with Dover Road to the left. Sign in right foreground reads ' Rose Bay Beach Estate... For Sale...' In 1908 ,18 lots were offered for sale as the Rose Bay Beach Estate along the foreshore from Caledonian Road. Point Piper and Belllevue Hill visible in the background.
Provenence One of nine glass plate negatives purchased from the Beryl Cubis Collection in 2003. The negatives were taken of Rose Bay, Double Bay and Vaucluse. The photographer and origins are unknown. See Accession No. 2003/4 and MS66 for location of original negatives.
